NovelNijia ("we", "our", or "us") operates the NovelNijia iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website at novelnijia.com.

Information You Provide

• Reading preferences and interests
• Library bookmarks and saved novels
• Reading progress
• Purchase information for subscriptions and coin bundles (processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details)
• Your name and email address if you sign in with Apple or Google, or if you contact support (sign-in is optional)

Automatically Collected Information

• Device type and operating system version
• App usage and performance data
• Reading history within the app
• An advertising identifier (IDFA) and related ad-interaction data, used to serve and measure ads (see "Advertising" below)

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide personalized novel recommendations
• Save and sync reading progress (when signed in)
• Process and validate subscriptions and coin purchases through Apple
• Serve and measure advertisements
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Respond to support requests

Advertising

NovelNijia is free to read and is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display banner ads and optional rewarded video ads (which you may choose to watch to unlock a chapter). To do this, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and collect data about your interactions with ads.

On first use we ask for your permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, we do not use your advertising identifier for personalized ads — you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Users with an active premium subscription do not see ads. AdMob's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

Your reading data (library, progress, coin balance, unlocked chapters, and downloads) is stored locally on your device. If you choose to sign in, selected data may be synced securely to our servers (Google Firebase) to enable cross-device access.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit) — authentication and purchases
• Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in
• Google Firebase — content delivery and storage
• Google AdMob — advertising

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent where applicable
• Export your data

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated on-device data at any time from within the app: open Settings → Delete Account. This signs you out, revokes the connected sign-in provider where possible, and erases your coins, unlocked chapters, downloads, and reading history from the device. This action cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

NovelNijia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
